Trump is the next president of the United States! Many people lost hope, or didn’t think it could happen.
After all, all the major news networks polls showed that Hillary would win. And of course, they would never be biased against Trump, right?
Hillary had a big crowd gathered for her at the Javits Center in NYC. The crowd became upset as the night went on and Trump continued to win.
However, right before the final judgement was in, Hillary sent John Podesta to tell the crowd to go home and to still have hope. He told them to all go to sleep and find out the election results the next day.
“Several states are too close to call so we aren’t going to have anything more to say tonight. Everybody should head home and get some sleep. We’ll have more to say tomorrow,” said Podesta to the crowd.
“I want every person in this hall, and across the country, to know that your voices and your enthusiasm means so much. We are so proud of you, and we are so proud of her. She’s done an amazing job and she is not done yet. So thank you for being with her — she has always been with you. Goodnight. We will be back we will have more to say. Let’s get those votes counted and let’s bring this home,” said Podesta. It’s almost sad.
